Monthly Meetings

Monthly lunch and education programs are held at either Piatti in Roseville or Piatti in Sacramento (rotated) the Third Wednesday of every month. Months with a special event do not have lunch meetings. Meetings start at 11:30 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m.

June 13, 2008 – “The Greatest Show on Grass in Sacramento” In the summer, we host a Golf Tournament that is perfect for the serious golfer but fun enough for the hacker. Our service providers and claims professionals compete for best ball honors. You never know until you drive up to the tee if you'll be "transported to Hawaii" or drinking margaritas while listening to a live mariachi band. The atmosphere is lively and the laughter is infectious! This year the golf tournament is planned at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. Click here for more information about the golf course. October 20, 2007– "AWCP Fall Educational Conference" In the fall AWCP provides a full day seminar. We address the hottest issues in workers' compensation from SB899, PD Ratings, ADA/FEHA, Risk Management and Legal Updates. Our speakers are industry experts and leaders in their field. Past Keynote Speakers have included State Legislators as well as Insurance Commissioner, John Garamendi. December 11, 2008– “ Holiday Party & Awards Banquet” At the end of the year we party in grand style! This party brings out the entire industry for one last social event of the year. Our parties totally encompass their themes. Past parties included: A Black and White Phantom Ball (complete with ballet and singers), a Dickens Christmas with roasted chestnuts, horse drawn carriage rides and the Sacramento Light Opera caroling. We’ve also conquered Mardi Gras and threw Sacramento's largest Hollywood premier!!
